Before and After Care Policies

Tuition Payments

Monthly tuition payments are due no later than the 5th of the month. We do not accept weekly or daily payments. For additional payment and billing information, please call the office at (631) 435 - 3215

Late Pick–up

Children picked up after 5:30 p.m. will incur a charge of $1 for every minute past this time, payable within 24 hours.

Illness

Children with a fever over 100 degrees cannot remain in the program. If a child becomes ill, they must be picked up immediately. After a three-day absence due to illness, a child may return only with a doctor's note.

Tuition Credit is only granted for absences of a full week with a doctor's note; no credit is given for partial weeks.

Medical Forms

All children must have a current, within the past year, physical and immunization form on file prior to the first day of the program.

At the time of registration, counselors must be informed, of any special medical conditions, allergies and medications the child may have.

Behaviors Not Tolerated

  • Aggressive Behavior: Physical aggression, such as hitting or biting, towards other children or staff members.

  • Bullying: Verbal, physical, or emotional intimidation or harassment of others.

  • Destruction of Property: Damage or vandalism of program materials, equipment, or facilities.

  • Inappropriate Language: Use of offensive or inappropriate language or gestures.

  • Disregard for Rules: Consistent failure to follow program rules and instructions.

  • Safety Violations: Actions that compromise the safety and well-being of oneself or others.

  • Fighting: Engaging in physical altercations with other children.

  • Disrespectful Behavior: Showing disrespect towards staff members, peers, or program rules.

**Upon registration, parents will receive a complete policy booklet.**

Violations of the above rules may result in suspension or permanent dismissal from the program. Unsafe behavior towards oneself or others can lead to immediate dismissal. We encourage parents to support counselors in enforcing safety rules and promoting positive social behaviors, such as sharing and being sensitive to others' feelings. Expelling a child is a serious and challenging decision made only after extensive collaboration with the parent and when it is evident that the child requires specialized support beyond what our program can provide.
